NSRG Annual General Meeting 2023: High Impact Events

The NSRG AGM 2023 will take place on the 3rd January 2023 just prior to the NGF Wintermeerting!

We invite all members and those interested to join us for a fun event covering the theme High Impact Events, which will include Talks, the AGM, lunch, core viewing and a networking dinner/social.

Event location will be at the Department of Geoscience and Petroleum at NTNU in room P13.

Dinner will take place at Gubalari restaurant in Trondheim city centre at 19.00.

• Dinner will be free of charge, drinks not included.

Speakers will include:

• Sverre Planke - University of Oslo: "Cenozoic sedimentary processes and deposits in the outer Møre and Vøring basins - moving from a hothouse to icehouse climatic conditions"

• Annique van der Boon - University of Oslo:"Hot, hotter, hottest: climatic swings and biotic crises during the Middle Devonian supergreenhouse"

• Rikke Bruhn - University of Oslo: "Shaking and splashing - A case study of far-field effects of the Mjølnir asteroid impact on depositional environments in the Barents Sea"

Online participation

The event will also be online for those unable to attend in person. Unfortunately only the talks and AGM will be hybrid. The core viewing is in-person only.
